| Make Deliveries to Most of Your Customers in Less than Four Hours More than half of North America’s automotive assembly plants are located within a four hour radius of the GAMA region, including General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, Honda, CAMI (GM/Suzuki), Auto Alliance (Ford/Mazda), Subaru, and AM General – forty final assembly plants in all, producing 8 million cars and light trucks annually (over half of North America’s total light vehicle production). In addition, 71 percent of General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, Honda, CAMI, Auto Alliance and Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance engine, transmission and parts operations and over 900 top supplier locations are also less than half a day’s drive from the GAMA region. The GAMA region is also home to major new plant investments by GM (Delta Township and Flint, MI) and nearby Toyota (Woodstock, ONT and Lafayette, IN) and Honda (Greensburg, IN) plants. |
